*****
Byron is a bipolar writer. His best mate Dave only communicates in insults. Together they must find a cure for Byron’s broken soul before it’s too late.
Funny, tragic and shockingly honest, Live Before You Die is a true story of happiness, hopelessness and friendship, told by two men on a desperate quest for inner peace.
Byron Vincent bio: BBC Radio 4 regular Byron Vincent has made work for the BBC, C4, RSC, BAC and a bunch of other fancy acronyms. A multi-award winning writer, he was named as BBC poetry season’s new talent choice and has been a ubiquitous face on music and literary festival stages for nearly a decade. Byron grew up on various Northern Sink estates and is a vocal campaigner for issues around poverty, crime and social housing. Byron has a diagnosis of Bipolar disorder and PTSD and is a proud ambassador for mental health charity Rethink.
Dave McGinn is Byron’s mate who got roped into co-writing, performing, doing all the driving, and writing press releases. Still, it’s good to keep busy.
