Bryony Frost becomes first group-wide ambassador for Jockey Club Racecourses
Fast-rising star jockey Bryony Frost, from Buckfastleigh in Devon, was yesterday announced as a group-wide ambassador for Jockey Club Racecourses.
Bryony has lit up British racecourses this season with a string of brilliant rides, her first Grade 1 victory and a winning smile to match, helping her to become one of the most popular faces in the sport.
The partnership is the first of its kind for Jockey Club Racecourses, which stages the likes of The Cheltenham Festival, the Randox Health Grand National, the QIPCO Guineas Festival and The Investec Derby Festival, and will now support Bryony’s career.
As an ambassador, Bryony will work with Jockey Club Racecourses to promote British Racing, including through social media channels, media work, personal appearances and a regular blog. She will also wear Jockey Club Racecourses-branded apparel when attending racedays and her new Range Rover Velar now bears the message ‘Bryony Frost, supported by Jockey Club Racecourses’.
The announcement was made today at Exeter Racecourse, one of The Jockey Club’s 15 racecourses and Bryony’s local track. The others in the group are: Aintree, Carlisle, Cheltenham, Epsom Downs, Haydock Park, Huntingdon, Kempton Park, Market Rasen, Newmarket July Course, Newmarket Rowley Mile, Nottingham, Sandown Park, Warwick and Wincanton. With The Jockey Club governed by Royal Charter, all profits its racecourse arm generates are invested back into British Racing.
