Stagecoach SW services suspended as heavy snowfall continues
Buses have been cancelled as heavy snowfall continues to cause problems on roads across Devon.
A statement from Stagecoach South West said:
In consultation with Devon & Cornwall Police we can now confirm that as weather conditions have deteriorated we will not be operating the following services for the remainder of the day:
- The South West Falcon, operating between Devon, Somerset and Bristol with exception as shown below
- All services operating out of our Exeter depot
- The majority of services operating out of our Torquay depot with the exception of route 12
- The majority of service operating out of our Plymouth depot with the exception of Park & Ride & very limited 2/2A
For clarity, a complete list of the services that have been suspended is shown below.
In North Devon, services are continuing to operate excluding those which connect across the county (6, 55, 155). The decision was taken after a red alert for snow was issued for Devon.
Devon and Cornwall Police has urged people not to travel unless absolutely necessary. We will review the road and weather conditions at 6am tomorrow with updates to follow on expected service provision.

Exeter
All lettered city routes (A, B, D/H, E/F1/F2, G, J/K/T, R/S)
All routes running out of Exeter: 1/1A/1B, Hop2, 4/4A, 9/9A, 5/5A/5B/5C, 55/55A/55B/55C, 56, Gold57, 58, 157, 357, X38
Torquay
All Exeter bound services: 39, 46 and X64
Fox, 13, 17, 18, 22, 31, 32, 34, 39, 46, 70, 77, 120
Gold - Suspended
Plymouth
2/2A no longer serving Plymstock, services terminating at Elburton Roundabout. Likely we will not be able to serve Saltash beyond Tamar Bridge
Park & Ride still operating.
All other Plymouth services suspended.
Falcon
No more Falcons will depart Plymouth for Bristol. Last departure to Bristol was 1315 which will make return journey to Plymouth picking up where possible.
