What are your favourite top deck views of Devon?

Devon County Council is inviting residents to recommend their favourite, most scenic bus routes in the county.

And to encourage residents and visitors to use public transport more, they’ve produced five short film clips of views taken from some of Devon’s most scenic routes; including the 93 bus from Dartmouth to Plymouth, the Mayflower Link; the 308 from Barnstaple to Croyde; the 118 Tavistock to Barnstaple; the number 11 bus from Teignmouth to Torquay, and the 55 from Exeter to Tiverton.

“We’re very lucky to live in such a beautiful county, and so many of our bus routes offer picturesque views,” says Cllr Stuart Hughes, Cabinet Member with responsibility for Highways and Transportation.

“We would like people to see our bus network not just as a practical way of getting from A to B, but as something there to enjoy.

“From the magnificence of our national parks to the stunning vistas of our coastlines, Devon’s bus routes include many superb and inspiring  views.

“We want to hear your views on your favourite bus routes.” said Cllr Hughes.

The five featured clips are on the Council’s website.
