Exeter School Chaplain Revd Tom Carson succeeded in raising over £5,000 for St Petrock's and in return had his head shaved by the Head of History Giles Trelawny in front of a crowd of pupils and staff.

So far £5,143 (not including gift aid) has been raised for St. Petrock's and donations can still be made at www.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/shaverevtom.

Revd Tom said: "I didn't think we'd quite get to the target until a very generous donation was made on Tuesday afternoon by someone who wishes to remain anonymous. My head feels a little bit weird, and it's rather chilly, but I'm pleased that we've raised a lot for this excellent cause. I have a few woolly hats for Christmas!"
