Riva’s Vision and Experience
With his background in wealth management, corporate financing and restructuring, estate planning, mergers and acquisitions, and international transactions, as well as his experience with getting startups off the ground and thriving, Riva brings an enormous wealth of experience to his position at AUREA.
Between 1997 and 2008 Riva founded and launched several startups, having developed a keen understanding of international business logistics as a senior executive of a multinational conglomerate doing business in several countries around the world. Riva also served as a board member for the company’s subsidiaries in Canada, Europe, Central and South America, and South Africa. From the start of his career working as an accounting and auditing specialist for a Big 4 corporation in Italy and the U.K., with operations in Milan and Manchester, Riva was groomed for a career in the area of international wealth management and investments.
Riva is a graduate of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, where he earned a degree in Economics and a certification as a National Public Accountant. In 1997, Riva completed a post-graduate program in SSQUEA at the Canton Ticino Management Business School. He completed a second post-graduate program in SUPSI at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland the following year. A dual citizen of Switzerland and Italy, Riva is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
