Exeter Philharmonic Choir Perform Faure's Requiem
After many months without live music-making, Exeter Philharmonic Choir returns to Exeter Cathedral to perform the Faure Requiem. Speaking about the Choir's return to live performance, Musical Director, Howard Ionascu said "It will be a joyous and emotional moment when Exeter Philharmonic Choir once again takes to the stage in the nave of Exeter Cathedral, a place we have all missed so much during the long months of the pandemic".
The Choir will be joined by two young professional soloists, Lucy Cronin and James Geidt and accompanied by the Devon Amici orchestra and Stephen Tanner on the organ.
The concert programme will also include several shorter choral works by Palestrina, Brahms, Rachmaninov and Hawes.
