Unexpected new Spiderman logo
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the release schedule for Marvel films has shifted, so in 2021, fans saw four full-length films from the studio at once. None were as eagerly anticipated as Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film attracted not only hardcore fans of the superhero but also millions of ordinary viewers.
The latest SpiderMan film continues the adventures of young Peter Parker, who, having passed the test of strength in the Avengers team, returns home again. But why can’t the guy go back home anymore as the film title declares? After the battles with Mysterio, his identity is declassified and now the spider has new problems. How to save relatives and loved ones if the villains know his real name? Spiderman will have to forget about the protection of neighbors and city streets in order to get out of a difficult situation.
In hopes to use a dangerous spell that can erase the memory of all mankind, he goes to Stephen Strange. However, the cunning plan collapses, and the connection between parallel universes is broken, so super-villains want to destroy Parker and the entire Earth.
"Spider-Man: No Way Home" is, of course, an enchanting nostalgia for the past years, which many of us spent together with a variety of friendly neighbors. However, this film is different because one era is over and replaced by something else. As the world of Witchcraft and Wizardry struggles to cope with the tragic consequences, Spider-Man is hiding in a snowy New York with a cup of coffee from MJ.
The last Spiderman film brought $1.16 billion by December 28, surpassing the Chinese drama The Battle At Lake Changjin ($902.5 million) and making it the highest-grossing film for Sony so far. A promotional video of this film featuring the SpiderMan: No Way Home action logo that has surfaced online has given Marvel fans new food for thought.
Marvel fans around the world were not indifferent to the new logo. The thing is, in addition to revealing the Spanish title of the SpiderMan triquel the fresh SpiderMan logo teases the film’s plot. At the end of the teaser, there happened to be a very intriguing glitch effect in the title. The well-known colors of Marvel Studios and SpiderMan are suddenly switching to a completely different color - dark crimson.
After the teaser was published, Marvel fans began to speculate right away. Some believe this is an allusion to the Doctor Strange appearance, a multiverse with other versions of Peter Parker, or a Matt Murdock/Daredevil cameo. Many said Sony Pictures once again hinted that several universes will intersect in the film and there will be characters from different films.
Marvel did this again. It just revealed a new spin on the iconic SpiderMan logo. The merchandise for SpiderMan: No Way Home presented a logo that merged all the three logos of the film heroes into one single image. Some call it a nightmarish epic design fail, while others are sure that the new logo will be loved by fans and soon added to the logo quiz. It is undoubtedly an impressive way to complete the triquel and have all the 3 spider variations be represented in one image.
A combination of the three logos is definitely an interesting and somewhat unexpected take on the popular emblem of SpiderMan. One thing for sure – it made a strong impression on everyone who saw the latest logo. Fans can get their hands on mugs, backpacks, t-shirts, socks, and other merchandise with the new logo and other film characters on the official website.
