RPA Launch Premier 15s Membership
The Rugby Players Association (RPA) has launched its new Premier 15s membership offer for the 2022/23 season.
This is a hugely exciting step in the RPA’s evolution, expanding beyond the women’s international game into domestic representation, as it looks to offer comprehensive support for all elite women.
Membership is open to all registered Premier 15s players, including those who are WRA members, and players will benefit from the RPA’s long history of expertise and player representation, for individuals and the collective.
Members will be given the platform to promote women’s welfare issues and drive for inclusive cultures across the game, through the RPA Welfare Advisory Board and RPA Diversity & Inclusivity Board.
The offering includes a host of benefits such as 24/7 mental health support, education grants, and contractual advice. Additionally, there is access to the MyRPA app, exclusive member offers and a library of resources on personal and professional matters, with plans to grow these offers ahead of the 2023/24 season and beyond.
Christian Day, General Secretary, said: “This is a proud day for the RPA as we launch this membership offering. This is just the beginning for us though, as we have the ambition to provide World Class representation for all women in the elite game.
We will be working with all stakeholders, including the Women’s Rugby Association, to ensure players are formal partners in the exciting future of the best women’s domestic league in the world.”
The membership can be accessed until 31st August 2022 at a small cost, and players can join up via the RPA website: https://therpa.co.uk/premier-15s-membership-form.
Alternatively, if you have any questions about the membership, email Mark Lambert, Head of Rugby Policy (mlambert@therpa.co.uk) or Natalie Beckett, Head of Membership Services (nbeckett@therpa.co.uk).
