Nigel Pinhorn from the Devon Nature Walks Group gives an introductory course on "Wildflowers of the Exe & beyond".

The series of walks and talks take place on either Sundays or Wednesdays. They are all outdoor walks and each session will be at a different venue, introducing the wonderful world of botany.

There will be particular focus on the identification, folklore, habitat preferences, medicinal and culinary uses of our wild flora. We will look at trees, wild flowers, grasses, sedges and rushes, ferns, mosses, lichens and galls. The associated wildlife will also be discussed.
