Love is in the air: Local Care Home Celebrates Valentine's Day

Cumberland Grange care home, in Exeter was filled with flowers, cards and decorations in celebration of Valentine’s Day.  

Staff and residents celebrated the day of love by throwing a Valentines party inviting along their family, friends and the community.  There was live music, sweet treats and delicious cocktails including Chocolate Martini’s, Sex on the Beach’s and Giggle Juice. Everyone sang and danced along to their favourite love songs.

General Manager, Marc, said: “We’ve all had a lovely day celebrating Valentine’s Day! Staff and residents done a fantastic job at decorating the home ready for the party which was such a fantastic afternoon. It means a lot to us to hold these precious events so that our residents can spend these wonderful moments with their loved ones. It was great to see members of the community come along and join us, too.”
