After a four year absence, Exeter-based airline Flybe has started flying to Nice with a twice-weekly service from Exeter.

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, now offers a choice of Tuesday and Saturday departures with passengers flying on the comfortable 118-seat Embraer 195 jet aircraft.

Nice is the latest summer route with Flybe, but the airline is operating 19 routes to and from Exeter this summer, a total choice of up to 218 flights each week.

Nice is a popular metropolitan centre with a long and varied history dating back some 400,000 years. Situated between Cannes and Genoa in the middle of the Cote D’Azur it offers beaches, culture and shopping, it is the perfect destination for Exeter travellers looking to take a break on the French Riviera.
