STOP PRESS: The Topsham Food Festival 2013 has been cancelled. The organisers issued the following statement on their website: "Apologies for the late notice but the Topsham Food Festival 2013 will not now be taking place. This is due to a number of factors that have made it not possible to put on an event this year.

"Provided that there is sufficient support, we hope to organise another Nello's Longest Table event in 2014.

"As we write this, the sun is shining and Topsham remains a great destination for food lovers. Please come along to Topsham and enjoy shopping for great local food and drink, eating out, or just having a drink in the sunshine.

"We look forward to seeing you in 2014."

The 4th Topsham Food Festival will take place on the weekend of 15-16 June 2013.

The weekend-long celebration will look to showcase Topsham as an outstanding source of food and drink at all levels as well as to provide a programme of events and opportunities to eat, drink and share fun activities centred on the pleasures of the table.

Topsham is famous for its numerous pubs and watering holes (the ‘Topsham Ten), as well as award-winning restaurants and cafés serving outstanding and varied food at all levels and to suit every taste and budget (look out for special festival menus). Darts Farm, on the edge of Topsham, is a fantastic regional food hall with its own Food Club offering varied activities and events. Topsham even has its own vineyard and wine cellar at Pebblebed.

This Festival celebrates the local – and is part of an on-going Topsham ‘eat, drink, shop local’ campaign. The Topsham Food Festival is a celebration, an opportunity to eat, drink and be merry.
