As a passionate supporter of future digital and tech talent, digital marketing specialist Optix Solutions was delighted to support the Exeter College Student Awards 2025.

The company was the proud sponsor of the Digital Media Academy Student of the Year Award won by Josh Tate.

The awards celebration took place at Exeter Cathedral where the hard work, dedication, and achievements of students across a range of disciplines was recognised. Optix MD Rob Stevens attended to present the award to Josh.

He said: “The evening was a fantastic showcase of talent, with inspiring stories from students who have demonstrated resilience, innovation, and commitment to their future careers. As a business that thrives on innovation and talent development, we’re proud to stand alongside Exeter College in nurturing the next generation of professionals.

“We loved meeting Josh and his family. He’s a naturally confident young person who is clearly deserving of the award. He told us that one day he hopes to become a television presenter; a role I can see him excelling in. I, and everyone at Optix, wish him the best of luck with his future career.”

Optix Solutions has a long history of working closely with Exeter College, including setting up digital bootcamps to support upskilling the unemployed, economically inactive and those looking for a career change. As a company committed to developing careers in digital and tech, Optix is keen to hear from students looking to gain experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation.

In addition, Optix works closely with Your Digital Future and Your Tech Future to provide recruitment services as well as training opportunities through its Digital Academy.
