The popular “Comedy Flash Mob” Grannies are back! Making a re-appearance on Saturday 8th June at 3pm, giving people the chance to turn up in their Grannie’s favourite cardi and floral tabard too! The invitation to join in goes out to anyone and everyone, you don’t have to be a dancer to take part in the fun, iconic flash mob, set this year to Ant and Dec’s ‘Let’s Get Ready To Rumble’. Headlining the music acts on Saturday at this year’s festival is Wille and the Bandits. The band, having toured their unique brand of roots rock with the likes of Deep Purple, Joe Bonamassa, The John Butler Trio and Status Quo, are originally from the South West and famous for creating an astonishingly huge sound, incorporating eclectic grooves from World music to Heavy Rock. Sunday’s headliners are returning talented local girl band Sound of the Sirens. Defining their style as ‘three girls, two guitars and a stompbox’ the awesome and talented trio of ladies deliver well written and catchy songs the crowds will love to sing along to.
