When two become one
Exeter-based Space commercial property advisers have helped a long-established firm of solicitors to merge two traditional offices into a new modern location.
Law firm Dyne Drewett called in SPACE to help merge their Sherborne and Wincanton offices into new premises at Sherborne Business Centre, which offers an open plan environment, more parking, and room for growth.
SPACE worked with Dyne Drewitt through the whole process, sourcing and shortlisting suitable premises, negotiating terms of the lease and then project managing the conversion of the new site from cold and tired premises to a modern, comfortable and productive office. SPACE then completed the process by overseeing the move from the two offices to their new address.
Dyne Drewett are delighted with their new offices and the speed and efficiency of the move. The new office opened this week without the company losing a single day’s business. Finding the right premises was crucial for the company who have been serving clients in the region for more than 200 years. The new office merges some departments with room for further expansion. Meanwhile Dyne Drewett retains its Shepton Mallet office serving clients in the Mendip and East Somerset areas.
Justin Hopkins, head of Commercial said SPACE had given them complete peace of mind throughout what was a challenging transition of two traditional offices to a single location.
"Their passion for customer service, great expertise of the commercial property market and extensive experience of managing both our fit out and moving requirements have been invaluable to us," he said.
SPACE’s managing director, Tim Wadsworth, said: “SPACE philosophy is all about giving our clients peace of mind, whether it’s the renegotiation of a lease through to a complete fit out and move, as in the case of Dyne Drewett."
