I moved here with my family in Summer 2003 to take up this job

The Cathedral Close

What was the last live performance you saw in Exeter and where did you see it?

A concert for Water Aid at St David’s Church last month

Favourite place to eat out in or near Exeter?

The Horse at Moretonhampstead or The Jack in the Green at Aylesbeare

Best coffee in town?

I’m no expert, but the coffee at The Sandwiched Inn in Magdalen Road is good

Favourite pub?

The Hourglass or The Turf

Favourite locally produced food or drink?

Taverners’ Orange Elephant ice cream

Favourite shopping area?

I’m not much of a shopper.

Dartmoor

What or where is Exeter's best kept secret?

Tuckers Hall in Fore Street: its façade is unobtrusive and hides a beautiful and historic interior.

Who is your local hero or heroine?

The staff of the Devon Air Ambulance

I am a member of the Incorporation of Weavers, Fullers and Shearmen
