Mariam Badavi shortlisted for Employer of the Year in the Venus Awards 2013
It's an honour to announce that Mariam Badavi has been nominated for the well-deserved Venus Awards - Devon 2013 for Employer of the Year, sponsored by Cathedral Appointments.
Even after seven months of personal setbacks, she got right back up and displays inspiring strength as a businesswoman and mother. She balances her role as a mother to her family and as owner and director of Purity Boutique Spa with grace and vigour.
While making sure to put her clients' needs and expectations first, she creates a loving environment for her beauty and skincare staff who are happy to go above and beyond for her as she does for them.
She shows compassion and support so they aren't just going to work every day... they are welcomed into a second home. She keeps them motivated by treating them to special events, regular training and spa days so that they feel valued and know how grateful she is for their hard work.
Even though Mariam may not have gotten enough sleep herself, she is smiling and ready with fresh ideas and concepts to implement into the spa and educational programmes such as the Skin Angels, which you may have seen around the city giving out essential skincare advice.
Please take a second to show your support! Follow her on Twitter and like Purity Day Spa on Facebook to keep in touch!
