Medieval Christmas Craft workshops are taking place on Sunday 23 December between 10am and 4pm.
The workshops are an excellent opportunity for people to try their hand at some authentic medieval handicrafts. All materials are provided and staff are on hand to help get the creativity flowing!
Try the ancient art of disc weaving, an easy way to make beautiful coloured woollen bracelets and cords or make and decorate a traditional beeswax candle.
Don't miss this unique experience to see Coldharbour Mill's rare 1910 Pollit & Wigzell 300hp steam engine, 1867 Kittoe & Brotherhood Beam Engine and Lancashire Boiler operating under steam. And, not forgetting the fully restored Water Wheel built especially for the mill in 1821. A fantastic event and an amazing experience.
The Engines run between 11am and 4pm. The Mill-site, shop and restaurant are open from 10.30am.
Tours of mill are also available on steam up days where you can see the process of turning combed worsted tops into knitting yarn on Victorian period...
Come and meet us and see our winter show in the EVA project space. There will be some small works for sale which would make ideal Christmas presents. You'll also get a free glass of wine and mince pies.

Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service is hosting a Christmas carol concert at Exeter Cathedral on Tuesday 18 December, at 7.30pm.
All members of the community are welcome to attend the free event for traditional carols accompanied by the Service’s Concert Band and Corps of Drums and the North Devon Pipes and Drums.

Exeter City Council is organising a flood surgery at the Civic Centre on Tuesday 18 December, 4.30pm-7pm.
A flood surgery, also called a flood drop-in, is an opportunity for those affected by flooding to air their issues and concerns and to speak to professionals from the Environment Agency and local authorities. In addition, it provides a chance for us to gather information about the recent flood.
