This year at the Dunsford Show, main ring entertainment includes free running experts Street Motion, the Lympstone Training Band and juggler and magician Greg Chapman. There's recipe sharing for alternative picnic snacks like scotch eggs, sausage rolls, quiche and so much more. There's the great British BBQ - a slimming world members best occasion with recipes for homemade coleslaw, BBQ chicken with homemade BBQ sauce, Moroccan skewers, pins and sangria, all made slimming world style and delicious.
Hatherleigh Care Village hosted its annual Summer Fete last weekend and it was a huge success. Residents of the Care Village enjoyed a BBQ, live music from the Diamond Duo, a visit from the Fire Brigade and lots of lovely stalls.

We’ve all got our fingers crossed for a sunny Bank Holiday this weekend, and the extra day off means only one thing – barbecue time! And while there’s no denying the satisfaction to be had from keeping it simple with sausages and burgers, with a little preparation you can produce an alfresco feast that will really impress your guests. Here, Jamil Miah, the curry expert behind Topsham’s award-winning Denley’s Essence of India Restaurant & Curry School, shares his favourite BBQ recipes.
Come along to Little Valley's Annual Shelter Day and Fun Dog Show. Gates open at 11am and the event runs till 4pm. There are refreshments, home made cakes, a bar with Pimms, BBQ, dog agility, stalls including plants, books, jewellery, bric-a-brac, jigsaws as well as fun and games and a grand prize draw.
