Jakub is from the Czech Republic and has been teaching about Buddhism since 2000. He has a clear and concise style of explaining about the timeless teachings of the Buddha in an easy to understand way.

Edita Berger will be visiting Exeter and Plymouth in September to give talks on Buddhism. Edita is from Hamburg and has been a student of Lama Ole Nydahl for 33 years. Since Lama Ole asked her to travel and start teaching, she has travelled to many countries sharing the inspiring and timeless teachings of Buddhism. Edita has an independant psychotherapeutic naturopath practice in Hamburg which she started in 1998. After the talk there will be opportunity for questions and a short meditation to finish. The talk is about Buddhism & Meditation and is presented by an experienced Diamond Way Buddhist teacher Lena Leonteva.
Lena was born in Ukraine in 1965. She took refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl in 1992 and six years later, at Lama Ole's request, started teaching about Buddhism. Lena has lived in the Moscow Buddhist centre since 1998 and has worked as a translater, editor and currently is the Deputy director at Orietalia Publishers. Lena completed a Phd in Buddhist History in 2011 with a thesis about the works of the Karma Kagyu lineage holder "Marpa".

In the New Year, I will be running a course of evening classes about the main religions practiced in Britain today. We shall begin by looking at Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Then, we shall turn to consider Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism. No prior knowledge of the subject is required. The course is not intended to promote any religion or belief. Rather, it is intended to inform students about the faith of their neighbours. Open to people of all faiths and none. This is a mixed ability class-all that is required is a willingness to learn.
