IKEA has announced that it will be hosting a car boot event in Exeter this spring, following a successful pilot last year.
The retailer is set to host the event on 18th and 19th May, giving more customers the opportunity to sell and purchase pre-loved homeware bargains.
The IKEA car boot gives locals a space to sell unwanted home furnishing goods, decorations and more (which don’t have to be IKEA products) to give a new lease of life to old items. Back by popular demand Topsham Rugby Club will be hosting their Car Boot Sale on the Bank Holidays this summer (Monday 7th May, Monday 28th May and Monday 27th August) from 9:30 am to 1pm.
Public on foot - free entrance. We would welcome a £1 donation for parking.
Sellers will be welcome to set up at 8am with fees £6 per car and small vans, larger vehicles and trailers at £10 each.
The clubhouse will be open with hot food and drinks available all morning and the Bar will also be open towards lunchtime, with guest ales and longstanding favourites on offer.

Stagecoach have unexpectedly brought forward the start date for work on the new bus depot at Matford, meaning a temporary closure of the weekly Sunday market and car boot sale at the Exeter Livestock Centre.
This week's market (Sunday 2 November) will be the last until the new year, with the market re-opening on Sunday 3 January.
