Winner of Singer of the Year in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, as well as Best Album and Best Original Song, Chris is widely acknowledged as a brilliant exponent of the topical troubadour form. Originally trained as a chorister, Chris draws on classical influences as well as his deep love for English folk, and is a master at melding traditional song with contemporary themes. Chris plays the guitar, fiddle and viola, and will showcase his latest critically acclaimed CD None The Wiser.

Business Network (SW) Limited Autumn Lunch

Over 70 decision makers from the local business community attended the autumn Business Networking (SW) lunch held at The Lord Haldon Hotel, Dunchideock. Guests were welcomed with a glass of wine and enjoyed a two-course sit-down lunch followed by a presentation from Chris Wood of Q Social Media Limited. There was also a free pre-lunch seminar on The Courts System hosted by Richard Blair, Partner at WBW Solicitors, Exeter.
