Chudleigh’s Christmas season kicks off on Thursday 4th December with a Christmas Fayre in the town centre, organised by the Chudfest committee in partnership with Chudleigh Town Council and Chudleigh Business Guild.
The lights will be switched on during a parade by the town's children. Father Christmas will be receiving visitors in his grotto. There will be live entertainment throughout the evening and many of the shops will operate late night opening. There will be a craft fair and a Christmas market in the Town Hall, plus additional stalls on the street.
The line-up has been announced for the annual Chudleigh Variety Concert which is being held this year on Saturday 4th October.
Topping the bill will be magician and illusionist, Peter Baffles. He will be supported by a host of local performers: including: 2FiredUp (Gina Sherwood and Lisa Smith); soul singer Peter Robinson; Black Magic with their saucy and serious songs; and Chudleigh Shanty Men. The evening will be compered by Chudleigh’s own Tank Sherman.
This will be the fifth year the concert has been held and, as always, proceeds will go towards the Christmas Lights...
