Tiverton pupil pins down top comedian for gig

Tiverton will be the venue for a rare evening of hilarious stand-up comedy by renowned writer, classicist and broadcaster Natalie Haynes, featuring some of ancient history’s funniest and most bizarre stories. But it’s only happening due to the persistence and persuasive powers of a Tiverton pupil as, despite having had five sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, Natalie has retired from her career as a stand-up comedian.

Sandy Park's popular Comedy at the Park returns on Friday, 2nd December from 7pm.

The evening will be MC-ed by Carly Smallman, described as 'the most exciting female act in the country right now.'
