Learn how to use a bow saw and a hand drill safely. Make ‘wood cookies’ to decorate, hang or spin. Our session finishes with a campfire gathering of hot chocolate, snacks and a campfire song.

Come and learn about felting techniques! Create your own piece of art to take home with you. Your finished product could be used as a wall hanging or cut and styled to create a brooch, finger puppet or maybe even a pencil case. Time to get inspired.

There’s a seasonal treat in store at the next flower arranging workshop at Otter Nurseries on July 27.
Experienced florist and arts tutor, Tracy Johnson will be showing course attendees how to create a beautiful display based on the theme ‘ Seaside Memories’, using seasonal flowers and seaside . The workshop is suitable for people with any level of flower arranging experience from beginner to advanced. It runs from 2.30 to 4.30pm and costs just £15 per person. The price includes all materials, flowers, tuition and refreshments.
