Showground starts to take shape

It all starts with a 100m tape, paper plan, old roadside boards cut up into 8” squares, bags of 6” nails, a hammer, marker pen, two energetic men and the passion and determination of the many volunteers who are involved with putting on the Devon County Show.

Show Secretary Ollie Allen has begun to oversee the marking out the site for the Devon County Show, held on May 22-24, at the Westpoint showground near Exeter.

Ashfords solicitors help pupils travel to Devon County Show

Dozens of youngsters have been enjoying the sights and sounds of Devon County Show thanks to Exeter law firm, Ashfords LLP.

Ashfords is providing transport to ferry pupils from their schools to Westpoint Arena during the three-day event.

The Exeter schools being assisted with their travel plans are Wynstream in Burnthouse Lane, Exwick Heights in Exwick Lane and Barley Lane in Barley Lane.

The Devon County Show on May 16-18 at Westpoint, Exeter, is a fabulous celebration of our great British countryside and a brilliant day out to boot.
