A reminder to “Share this Space” has been issued to everyone using Devon’s roads and paths this summer.
With roads and walking and cycling routes getting busier again as more people return to work and more visitors travel to Devon, the County Council is urging everyone to take extra care in Devon.
As well as sharing space, the authority is also calling on everyone to share the campaign messages. It’s promoting a "toolkit" on its dedicated Share this Space webpages which includes films, animations and graphics that can be posted on social media.
Bus passengers are able to access the latest timetable information on “e-booklets” published online.
The timetables, covering all of the districts across the county and all service operators, have been published online on Devon County Council’s Travel Devon website .
The information is the most up-to-date available, but service times can change.
The website has information on changes to services. However, passengers are asked to please check with bus and train operators before travel, or visit Traveline for more information on bus services which are currently...
The UK’s leading developer and manager of retirement communities, McCarthy & Stone, has responded to Boris Johnson’s appeal for developers to “build, build, build” by actively searching for land in Exeter, as it looks set to make an investment of around £5million in older people’s housing in the city.
McCarthy and Stone is predicting a strong increase in the demand for retirement living in Exeter, given that the UK’s 65+ population is set to grow by 43 percent in the next 20 years[1], and it is seeking appropriate sites for the development of a new multi-tenure retirement...
