Churches across the UK are being urged to take steps to prevent metal theft following a spate of incidents.

The warning comes from specialist insurer Ecclesiastical following theft of lead from the roof of churches in Bath, including All Saints Church in Weston which was targeted multiple times in one month.

Girlguiding South West England have teamed up with Dartmoor Zoological Society to provide its members with a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a sleepover at Dartmoor Zoo. Over 500 girls, ranging from 7-year-old Brownies through to Guides, Rangers and Young Leaders are due to sleep over at the zoo across dates in May, June and October. A further 270 girls, from the youngest 4-year-old Rainbows, through to Young Leaders and their Unit Leaders are coming for the day.
