This week we’ve partnered with RockSolidRace to offer you and your friend FREE race entry into one of the UK’s wettest, muddiest and most exciting obstacle course races.
RockSolidRace comes to Escot Park on Saturday 15 March. A 5km or 10km military style obstacle race that boasts over 35 obstacles, hot showers, an after party and live 6 Nations screening!

Set in the beautiful grounds of Escot Park, this is an obstacle course like no other. A cocktail of mud, sweat and team work that will push your mettle to the max. With 35 obstacles, you can look forward to 8-foot walls, ice pits, a few well-placed hills and the best water based obstacles in the country. After some extreme levels of mud, you’ll be ready for the hot shower at the finish line!

Events for the day include: Games-including Crack the Nut, Nut and Spoon races, Nut Rolling (with your nose!), Story Walks, The Great Squirrel Hunt Falconry displays and you can meet Cyril our 6 foot squirrel who will be popping into the Coach House Restaurant to say hello.
Children must be accompanied by a resposible adult. All children qualify for free entry but normal entry fee applies to adults. Members are free.
Families will have the opportunity to get creative by making their own bird box with the guidance of Escot's Nature Rangers!
You will be given fun information sheets about what birds to keep your eyes open for and how to care for your bird box when you take it home with you at the end of the day!
Cost: £5 per box. Places are limited. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

See Santa in his forest grotto (£4 per child includes Christmas gift), take part in Christmas arts and crafts at Yurt Village. Enjoy yuletide good cheer with a glass of mulled wine, mince pies and other scrumptious Christmas goodies in the Coach House Restaurant and outdoor Christmas Kitchen. See the animals receive christmas gifts and take a christmas pony ride (there will be a small charge for pony rides). Place your wish on our special Wishing Tree and join us for christmas carols and the lighting of the christmas tree....
Enjoy a morning foraging for mushrooms and learn about the different funghi to be found in the woods with our local funghi expert. Then relax and enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch in the Coach House Restaurant.

Make your own bat box with the help of Escot’s Nature Rangers! Receive an information sheet about native bats and how to care for your bat box when you take it home with you at the end of the day.
