On 7th December Exeter City Futures held its Challenge Definition Workshop to synthesise insights, comments, and discussion from Exeter City Futures Community. The workshop brought together the most engaged and entrepreneurial community members, members of Exeter City Council, and the Exeter City Futures team.

Startup Weekend Exeter will return for a third time over the weekend of 10-12 June 2016 to The Innovation Centre, Exeter.

Businesses have key role to play in city-wide driver behaviour trial

Local businesses are being invited to play a part in a groundbreaking Exeter motoring trial that could make driving in the city, the South West and, eventually the globe, cheaper, greener and safer.

Drivers in Exeter are being invited to take part in a groundbreaking pilot programme that could help make driving in the city, the South West and, eventually, the globe cheaper, greener and safer.

Using pioneering technology designed and developed by Exeter-based Lightfoot®, the trial will help to establish if the system, which is already proven to cut fuel consumption by 15% and accidents by up to 60% in the commercial fleet sector, has the potential to do the same among the general public.
