Students of all ages wanting to find out what engineering, aerospace, automotive and construction courses and careers are on offer get the chance to talk to experts and find out for themselves as Exeter College opens the doors of its dedicated Technology Centre and Construction Training Centre on 11 February, 5pm – 7pm.

Exeter Cathedral is the stunning backdrop to Exeter College's Festival of Carols being held on Friday December 5th in aid of the college's charity of the year, YoungMinds. The free event, open to the public, will open its doors from 6.30pm to anyone wishing to join the college's staff, students and family members to celebrate the festive season, with the event starting at 7.30pm. Donations collected at the end of the evening will go towards the college's annual fundraising for their chosen charity.

Lord Mayor to open Exwick Sports Hub

Local and regional sports leaders will join college governors, staff, civic leaders, local sports partnerships and students to celebrate the official opening of Exeter College's £1.4 million Exwick Sports hub on Thursday (16 October), the latest phase of the college’s £14 million sports investment programme.

The Exwick Sports Pavilion provides modern classrooms and changing areas complementing the existing playing fields and court areas that offers college students and community groups cricket, football and tennis facilities.

Outstanding A Level results for Devon's outstanding college

A Level students and staff at Exeter College, have continued a year of outstanding news with today's announcement of a 99.5% pass rate.

Over 780 students from across Exeter, Devon and Torbay received their A2 results today at the college and half have achieved the high grades A*, A and B grades, enabling them to progress to top universities in the future.

With these results Exeter will continue to rank amongst the country's top Sixth Form Colleges, as illustrated by an impressive 114 A* grades at A Level.

Exeter students perform in Lord of the Flies

Two talented student-dancers from Exeter, James Leo and Matthew Hartley, have struck gold: landing themselves in renowned choreographer, Mathew Bourne's stage adaption of Lord of the Flies - which showed at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth from the 30th of April to the 4th of May.

A lecturer from Exeter College has been recognised as one of the nation’s top teachers today, after winning a national award. Andy Waite, who teaches on the Travel and Tourism course at Exeter College, was chosen out of more than 20,000 nominations to pick up a Silver Teaching Award Winner in the FE Lecturer of the Year category. Exeter College celebrates 'Oustanding' from Ofsted

Exeter College students and staff are celebrating after being rated as outstanding by education inspectors. The college, which was also rated outstanding by Ofsted less than two years ago, has become the first college in Devon and Cornwall to reach the standard under a new ratings framework. It makes it the only education provider to gain this highest accolade in two different inspections in less than two years.
