Did you know that in Exeter, in 12 months, there has been a 36% increase in the number of teenagers involved in Explorer Units (boys and girls aged 14 to 17)? There is also a waiting list of people wanting to join, which is the first time in 25 years.
The reason for the increase is due to the tremendous programmes the Units run, which are shaped by the young people in the Unit. The increase is also due to the brilliant programmes that are offered to Scouts (boys and girls aged 10 to 14). This means they are staying involved and want to move on to Explorers.
