Learn to meditate outdoors Join local instructor, Katherine Bolton in the peaceful wildlife garden at Seaton Wetlands for an evening of mindfulness and meditation.

Learn basic meditation skills and take home some quick-fix tips for handling stressful or busy times.

If poor weather the class will take place in the Reed Base Classroom.

Please bring a mat/ towel to sit on and wear comfortable loose fitting clothes.

Countdown to Easter opening fixture under way

Newton Abbot’s 2018 summer jumps racing season gets off to a flying start this Easter on Saturday 31 March, when the racecourse reopens with its first fixture in an extended series of nineteen.

Always a firm favourite with families, the Easter Saturday fixture is just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting programme of racing and special events at the only summer jumps racecourse in the South West.

A bird watching event especially for children Borrow our binoculars and discover the birds along the Axe estuary with an experienced volunteer guide.

Try and spot all the birds on your bird spotter sheet and take a look through a telescope for an amazing view of the birds.
