Solana are an instrumental gypsy-folk band. Hailing from all corners of Europe, their style reflects the diversity of their backgrounds and interests: their sound encompasses folk, swing, klezmer, flamenco, latin, reggae and trip-hop. He quickly became a firm favourite at Folk Clubs and Festivals, helped by his song "Farewell to the Gold" being taken up by Nic Jones, who recorded it on his CD "Penguin's Eggs".
