Exeter City scored two late goals to beat Morecambe 3-1 at St James Park and move up to fifth in the League Two table.

The Grecians took the lead in the first few minutes of the second half having had the lion's share of chances. However, they were then pegged back by a superb volley from Kevin Ellison and needed a penalty from substitute Reuben Reid to put them back in front before Liam McAlinden put the gloss on an excellent day by firing home with virtually the last kick of the match.

City manager Paul Tisdale made four changes to the starting XI up from the defeat at...

A wonder strike from Tom Owen-Evans sent Exeter City to their first defeat in five games as they lost 1-0 at home to Newport County AFC.

City had the better chances in the first half, with David Wheeler going close on a few occasions, but struggled to create any clearcut openings in the second half after falling behind despite the introductions of Matt Oakley, Jack Stacey and Ollie Watkins from the substitutes' bench.

Grecians manager Paul Tisdale made two changes to the side that had beaten Mansfield Town last time out. Into the starting XI came Reuben Reid, who scored a...

Exeter City stayed in the play-off places as they picked up a well-earned point at Luton Town.

The Grecians had opened the scoring midway through the half with a well-worked move that was finished off by Jake Taylor, but Danny Hylton levelled the scores with a close-range header. In truth, it was a backs-to-walls display, at times, for City as they defended superbly but they had moments of quality on the break and had the visitors made more of the few chances they created at the start of the second half they could have come away with all three points.

City manager Paul...
