Exeter original band “no ordinary fish” are playing a gig at Exeter Phoenix Studio 1 on Sunday 8th October from 7.30-9.30pm to release their 2nd album “Adverse Camber”. Tickets cost £5 and proceeds from ticket sales will go to the charity Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis as drummer/singer Stu has the condition and recently had to quit teaching after 25 years ...how many singing drummers do you know with MS?! CDs, t-shirts, baseball caps and tote bags will also be on sale.

Exeter Cavern will play host to the first PetRocks! fundraiser gig to help people in the city who are homeless.
Organised by local businessman and guitarist Dan Pritchard, of Susannah and the Noise, the gig on Thursday February 20 at the Gandy Street venue will see proceeds go to local charity St Petrock’s, which is working to address the problems caused by homelessness in and around Exeter.
Susannah and the Noise will be joined by Lottie, Ghost Hands and Charlotte AP for the gig.
Last year, between 45 and 95 people were accessing the charity’s drop-in homelessness...
On their return booking to the Old Firehouse after their firey debut performance two weeks ago, The Wordsmen are ready to pump the atmosphere again with rock classics like "Johnny B. Goode" and "The Hippy Hippy Shake" topped off with a number of their own originals, including the much praised "Escape Hatch".
