The Mighty Diamonds — Donald “Tabby” Shaw, Fitzroy ”Bunny” Simpson and Lloyd “Judge” Ferguson – formed in 1969 in the Trenchtown area of Kingston, Jamaica. Lyme Regis is set to become a top annual venue for folk music when it hosts the first Lyme Folk Weekend at the end of August.
Lyme Folk Weekend will round off the summer with some of the country's finest folk acts at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis, as well as a full-on programme of singing, dancing and entertainment - in pubs and cafes in and around the town and on the sea-front - plus lots of free family events.

Oxjam Exeter Takeover is part of a national music festival and will feature up to 120 live music acts at venues across Exeter on 19 and 20 October 2013.
All proceeds raised from the festival will go to Oxfam.

The Unexpected Festival will take place from 15-22 September and will include activities such as art making, music acts and other contemporary performances. It really all is in the name, the festival will not take place in one conventional location, but instead, across several locations in Exeter.

Over three days the Branscombe Festival will present performances from some of the leading international classical musicians, including stars of the Metropolitan Opera and the Royal Opera House lyric soprano Ailyn Pérez and tenor Stephen Costello, the young cellist Philip Higham, the Carducci Quartet and celebrated jazz ensemble The Leo Green Experience, culminating with a free concert from the Trelights Brass Quintet on Branscombe beach.
