Sadler's Wells Associate Artist Jasmin Vardimon returns with her critically-acclaimed dance theatre production, Park.
Park is an urban oasis, a place of refuge from ordinary life where eight characters play, fight, fall in love and learn to survive. In this playground of relationships, young lovers wrestle in a historic fountain, a graffiti artist sprays his story, a busker finds his only appreciative audience in a bag lady and a flag-waving bully rants worn out political beliefs. Their stories intertwine creating a modern day fairytale that is alternately sharp, funny and cruel...
Young people from Honiton have now chosen a second £90,000 design for their skate park at voting events held by East Devon District Council. A second round of voting was called by the council after the 1st choice company, voted for in December last year, was unable to fulfil their contract. A significant number of Young people took part in the three voting events to pick another design with 58% picking the new design by skate park design company Maverick. EDDC will now work with Maverick to get this design installed and opened as early as possible using £90,000 from EDDC’s main budget. The...
I had been promising my 10-year-old son Sam a trip to Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park as soon as the wet weather disappeared. So, with the promise of a dry weekend on the cards and with the recent opening of new attraction The Lost World of Atlantis, last weekend was the perfect time to head for Devon’s greatest adventure park!
Sam and I have been fairly regular visitors to Crealy over the years and it never fails to amaze me how much the park grows each year.
This year is certainly no exception as Crealy is celebrating its 25th birthday, and to mark the anniversary...

The third annual Men’s Walk will once again commence from the home of the Exeter Chiefs on Saturday March 15. The walk takes in spectacular views of the City as it goes through Ludwell Valley Park before heading back to the finish line at Sandy Park.

Vandals who damaged the safety surface of a new play area should not be tolerated, a leading councillor has said.
Cllr Greg Sheldon, Exeter City Council's Lead Councillor for Environment, was speaking after vandals delayed the opening on the new climbing net at St Thomas Play Area.
The yobs broke down metal fencing at the park and then walked over the setting safety surface causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage.
Cllr Sheldon said: "Once again it is the selfish actions of a mindless few who are spoiling the enjoyment for everyone else. We will not tolerate this...
