Despite the horrendous weather, most of the Animated Exeter events taking place in the city over the past couple of weeks went ahead.
The Valentine's Day weekend saw the culmination of the first week of Animated Exeter with a fabulous light show on Fore Street, directed by Tal Rosner. Unfortunately, the show had to be cancelled on the Friday night due to the storms, but Saturday's performance was absolutely beautiful, with Fore Street being transformed into an interactive cinema, and people flocking to see the spectacle.

Spring is kicking off with a bang this year, with the arrival of the 15th edition of Animated Exeter, running from the 10th to the 22nd February 2014. These twelve days will see Exeter buzzing with exciting and innovative screenings, workshops and exhibitions taking place all over the city. On 30th November, the Phoenix Theatre in Exeter is hosting a night of 'Beatz and Bobz' with four bands and DJ sets playing, including the up-and-coming 'The Correspondents'. This eccentric DJ and Producer duo have a newly-released single called “Fear and Delight”, which is out on December 9th.
