Devon Birds is providing a great opportunity for amateur photographers with the launch of a new photo competition this Summer which is open to the general public.

Devon Birds is a charity which supports the study and conservation of wild birds.

Amateur photographers are invited to submit their bird photographs which must have been taken in Devon, and the winning entries will be displayed at Torre Abbey in the autumn.

The programme of exhibitions at Exeter Community Centre has been rolled out and there are still spots to be filled.

Calling artists of all stripes - we don't charge a hanging fee or take a commission from your sales.

You are welcome to submit work for all three themes - we only hang group shows, curated from the work submitted.

New Participatory Photography Project for Exeter

Local social enterprise, Meridian Raw CIC, are pleased to announce a new participatory photography project for Exeter called The Future Focus Project,

Cygnet Theatre is calling out for photography students/ people looking to build their portfolio to take live shots of each of our coming shows in our spring season. If this would be of use to you or someone you know, please ask any interested people to email with an example of their work to marinaoshea@cygnettheatre.co.uk .

There are only days left to get your entries in for St David’s Neighbourhood Partnership (SDNP)’s photographic competition.

The competition – called 'Scene in St David’s' – is open to all St David’s residents and offers a £100 top prize, and £50 for the runner up – plus the same for under-16s. Alongside views of the area, entrants are asked to describe why the place in their photograph is special to them. The competition will be judged by a panel of regional arts and community professionals, it closes on 4th January and the winners will be announced at the SDNPs AGM in February....
