The freehold of the historic pub has been acquired from Punch Taverns by Linda and Trevor Voaden and they have set about a comprehensive programme of renovation and refurbishment.

Police are appealing for witnesses following two assaults in a Honiton pub. Police would like to speak with anyone who was in the Three Tunns on Saturday night (8 February 2014.) A 46-year-old man suffered slight bruising to both eyes in an assault at around 11.30pm inside the pub. Two men, a 20-year-old and an 18-year-old, were later arrested on suspicion of assault. Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in an Exeter pub by another man who was described as looking like pop star Olly Murs. The incident took place at around 10.50pm on Wednesday 12 September in The Imperial pub in New North Road. There was an altercation between two men and when the victim tried to intervene the suspect punched him to the floor and then kicked him to the face.
