Fans across the world have just 50 days to go until the start of Rugby World Cup 2015, hosted in England and in Cardiff between September 18 and October 31, 2015.

As the countdown continues, to what is predicted to be the biggest Rugby World Cup to date, fans will today have further opportunities to be part of Rugby World Cup 2015 as an additional 30,000 tickets go on general sale from 1200 (BST) for matches in Pools A and B via tickets.rugbyworldcup.com

Tomorrow (July 31) a further 25,000 tickets will also go on general sale from 1200 (BST) for matches in Pools C and D....

Competition to find RWC flag bearers launches in Exeter

Emirates, a global connector of people, places and passions, and its ambassador for rugby, Ben Foden, has today launched a flag hunt in Exeter to find the Official Flag Bearers for the tournament.

Emirates and Ben Foden will be hiding a flag in Exeter tomorrow and sharing clues on social media for fans to follow. With global excitement building ahead of Rugby World Cup 2015, Tournament Organisers, England Rugby 2015, have unveiled the official design that will feature on the tickets for the 48 matches.

With support from Exeter City Council, Phonic FM is inviting proposals for original creative audio portraits of Exeter and its communities, in some way exploring the reach and influence of the Rugby World Cup 2015 matches in the city.

Over 2 million tickets have now been sold for Rugby World Cup 2015 as enthusiasm for the Tournament continues to grow ahead of, what could be, the biggest ever Rugby World Cup to date. The 2 million sales milestone was reached as a further 100,000 tickets went on general sale yesterday (May 28) via tickets.rugbyworldcup.com. With a total of 2.3 million tickets available for the 48 matches in 13 venues during the Tournament, sales so far include tickets sold through the Rugby Community Sale, general sale, the official Rugby Travel and Hospitality programmes and the Rugby World Cup Limited...

Webb Ellis Cup heads for Exeter

Rugby's greatest prize, the Webb Ellis Cup, will visit Exeter on 10 and 11 July during the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour.

Launching on June 10, 100 days to go to the opening match, the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour will travel through Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Wales and England before arriving at Twickenham Stadium on September 18 ahead of the Opening Ceremony.

Chocolate rugby ball Easter egg hunt

A special Easter egg hunt inspired by Rugby World Cup 2015 kicks off along the Exe Estuary Trail this spring.

The Exe Egg Chase will run during the Easter holidays, starting on Saturday March 28 and running through to Sunday April 12.

People taking part have to find small, Rugby-ball shaped chocolate eggs which are hidden at a number of businesses along the estuary trail route including, Saddles & Paddles, Toby Buckland Plant Centre, Stuart Line Cruises, Darts Farm, the Salutation Inn and Double Locks.

With six months to go to Rugby World Cup 2015, Tournament Organisers England Rugby 2015, has confirmed details of the official resale service for Rugby World Cup 2015 match tickets, which will launch next week through tickets.rugbyworldcup.com .

The service will allow fans to sell tickets for any matches they can no longer attend, at face value, through a secure, transparent and authorised system. School children to welcome teams to RWC2015

With excitement building ahead of Rugby World Cup 2015, schools are being offered the opportunity to be part of the ceremonies which will welcome the 20 participating teams to the Tournament in England and Wales.

Each of the 20 teams will be officially welcomed to the Tournament and their respective Team Base regions by local schools in September 2015.

The Welcome Ceremonies, delivered by Tournament Organiser, England Rugby 2015, will feature a performance by the selected schools, as well as a celebration of the local community and the game.
