'From Autumn to Winter'

As the temperature drops deeper into the season, all skin types need richer and more nourishing protection and hydration just like fashion turns to thicker clothing to warm up. Otherwise, tiny cracks can give way to visible lines that are not usually there. Dry skin due to cold or harsh weather can also cause irritation for sensitive individuals which is why its also a good idea to choose natural ingredients whenever possible. Many people will find they need to layer moisturising products over a hydrating serum to stay hydrated. Even oily skin needs hydration to stay balanced and to keep...

If you can't stay in the shade between 11am and 3pm, make sure you are wearing an SPF suitable for your skin tone. It's common knowledge that the darker you are, the more melanin you have in your skin. Melanin is the component in skin which makes you tan. The tanning action of the skin is actually a sign of damage and is the body's...

Natural vs chemical products

Is your make-up or skincare toxic? Most people can't even pronounce some of the ingredients in their beauty, skincare or bath products – yet they continue to use them, unaware of the long-term repercussions on their health.

For many consumers, ignorance is bliss, but keeping educated on toxins and chemicals in products we ingest, rub into our skin or inhale might just prevent sickness and disease later on. Due to numerous sensitivities such as allergies and coeliac disease, many people are becoming more aware of the chemicals and toxicity of products on the market.

Is massage therapy a luxury reserved only for the ladies? Absolutely not!

Men can enjoy and reap the benefits of massage too, especially after a long workweek doing all that overtime! Some of the top companies in the world offer workplace massage because they know its powerful benefits including enhanced morale and ability to handle heavy workloads. What many people don't know is these benefits extend far beyond just the workplace. Massage reduces the stress hormone, cortisol and releases the 'feel-good' hormones, dopamine and serotonin. Too much cortisol in the...

See Spots Run

You would think with all the spot products and vanishing creams on the market, we would see clearer faces in the hallways of high schools and secondary schools.

The good news is that acne is treatable and you don't need harsh chemicals to get the job done.

The first step is cleansing not only the skin, but deep down...
