Exeter mountain bike trial athlete Andrei Burton has joined forces with lifestyle clothing brand Saltrock in a partnership which will see the pair roll out a series of entertainment initiatives over the course of the year.
Burton is one of the UK’s most successful mountain bike trial athletes. He competes for Team GB and in 2013 was placed 6th in the UCI World Championships and 4th in the UCI European Championships.
He competes all over the world, holds three Guinness world records and has his sights set on breaking another in August.
Saltrock now charges 5p for every carrier bag given out in all stores across the country, and every penny collected is donated directly to coastal charity Surfers Against Sewage. Saltrock hopes that by taking this company wide decision it can raise both awareness and funds for the charity to fight the causes of coastal damage. “Surfers Against Sewage is a cause close to our hearts here at Saltrock,” says Saltrock spokesperson Katie Goodfellow.

Saltrock, the UK’s original surf lifestyle company is to open a brand new store in Exeter’s Princesshay on Saturday 26 October 2013.
The new store will occupy the unit between schuh and LK Bennett, in the heart Princesshay, offering collections for men, women and children.
