Enjoy the talents of Exeter based artist GRICE and his five piece band in aid of the Stroke Association on Saturday 14th December.

Audiences will get to hear rock artist GRICE's album for the first time in its entirety and get to see him perform as part of the start of his tour.

The cost of attending this event is £5, with proceeds going to the charity.

To witness a fresh new artist perform, all for a great cause, please visit St Stephen's Church on Saturday 14th December.

If you would like to hear some acoustic rock tunes, all in aid of a good cause, then you need to pay a visit to St Stephens chuch on Saturday 14th December.

Exeter based artist GRICE and his five piece band will be performing at the church as part of the start of their tour. The tour will see GRICE performing at selected chuches and small venues around the Southwest, Bristol and London.

Volunteers in training for new Chaplaincy

The opening of the Exeter City Centre Chaplaincy is drawing closer as training begins for a team of volunteer chaplains.

The volunteers are being trained by Lead Chaplains Rev. Tony Raven and Rev. Preb Norman Wallcock to help provide services to the shops in the City Centre.

The training is expected to be completed by January 2014 when the City Centre Chaplaincy will be officially launched.

At the launch, on Wednesday 22 January in St. Stephen’s Church, supporters of the Chaplaincy and other interested parties will be able to speak to the Lead Chaplains to find out...

A Local Currency For Exeter?

Chris Sunderland, Director of the Bristol Pound project, will be explaining the value of a local currency for local businesses at a public meeting in St Stephen’s Church in Exeter High Street, Thursday evening 26 September (6.45pm arrival for 7pm start).

Devon’s churches are getting greener. Eighty churches from all over the South West took part in a pioneering conference to look at heating their buildings more effectively. Churches are encouraged to carry out energy audits or benchmarking to determine both the use of their buildings and also energy demands, with a view to making more efficiencies in the future. Richard Skinner to give poetry reading at St Stephen's Church

Exeter poet Richard Skinner will read his new Easter poem, "Utterly Staggering", on Thursday 28 March (Maundy Thursday) and Saturday 30 March (Holy Saturday) in St Stephen's Church, Exeter High Street at 12.00noon. The reading will last approximately 30 minutes, and there is free admission.

As a poet and performer Richard has published seven books, the most recent being Invocations. He also gives regular readings of his work, appearing at the Exeter Festival since 1989, and has twice been on tours sponsored by South West Arts.

The 'F' stands for Forgiveness - The Forgiveness Project is an exhibition of posters describing the stories of people who have been directly affected by violent crimes, rape, kidnapping, murder and the killing of a child.

The exhibition will be at St Stephen’s Church, High Street, Exeter. It will be open from 10.00am to 4.00pm Monday 11th March to Friday 15th and from 12.00 to 4.00pm on Sunday 10th and 4.00pm to 7.30pm on Monday 11th.

Public consultation on new housing strategy for the city

Senior Exeter City Council housing officers will be at St Steven’s Church, High Street from 10.30am to 3.00pm on Thursday 7th February 2013 for an informal discussion on what the housing priorities for the city should be and how these can be achieved.
