Aving a Giraffe is a unique comedy challenge, aimed at showcasing some of the region's best undiscovered comedy talent. Participants at the event will each have just two minutes to show off their skills and make you laugh, all with the added pressure of a high profile judging panel.
There will be a few surprises throughout the night and a whole lot of laughs.

The main event during the festival will be the Oxjam Exeter Takeover 2013, featuring up to 120 acts performing at multi-venues across Exeter on 19 and 20 October.

Three people, including the gunman, have been shot dead at a courthouse in Wilmington, Delaware.
According to Yahoo News Wilmington Mayor Dennis Williams said in a telephone interview on Monday that the shooter was killed by police. Williams says he was told the shooter shot and killed his wife and another woman, and wounded at least one other at approximately 8.10am. Williams says the couple were estranged.
Reports suggest that at least two other people were injured in the incident, their condition is so far unknown.
