De-silting work is about to start on Dawlish Brook to help reduce future flooding, protect the town centre, residents and businesses and its world-famous waterfowl.
Work is scheduled to start on today (12 November) and is set to last two weeks.

The RNLI have teamed up with SeaSports South West, based in Teignmouth, and Teinbridge Kayak and Canoe Club, to offer visitors a taster session in sailing, paddle boarding and kayaking. The fun includes an assault course, bouncy castle, and children's fancy dress theme 'Beside the Seaside'. Free entry with small charge for taster sessions.
