Concert of folk songs for International Women’s Day

Saturday 12th March sees a new show of folk songs come to the Cygnet Theatre in Exeter, celebrating women from history.

The show is being curated by three of the team from Wren Music – Amy Wilson, Sarah Owen and Marilyn Tucker (pictured), and has already recruited a chorus of 30 women who are sure to make the evening extra special.

Although the arts organisation already runs five community choirs across the county, they spotted an opportunity to bring together a women-only singing group specifically to celebrate women’s history for international women’s day.
