Exeter-based gig promoter Dave Meyland today said Exeter could punch above its weight after the successful visit of superstar rapper Snoop Dogg to the city.
The American performer played a sell-out show at Timepiece last week drawing fans from across the UK.
Dave (pictured left) said he had received dozens of messages of appreciation for pulling off the gig of a lifetime.

The owners of an Exeter pub severely damaged in a blaze have been inundated with offers help from business contacts, friends and customers.
George Sloan and his business partner Rob Skinner have spent the last two weeks over seeing a massive clean-up operation.
But they said they had been touched by the amount of support and encouragement they have received, sometimes from complete strangers.

Spencer, famous for starring in shows such as Made in Chelsea and The Bachelor, made his apperance as part of Timepiece's regular ' Clique Mondays'.
Crowds, of mainly female, locals and students gathered to see one of SW3's most famous stars.
